The Aquascape Environmental team provides a highly qualified perspective on the art and science of aquatic resource management.  While we all share an interest in aquatic flora and fauna, each team member has a unique background; taken together, our collective 50+ years of experience in the field is unmatched.

Jim Lanier, President

Jim Lanier is the founder and president of Aquascape Environmental. Jim holds a B.S. in Agriculture in Plant Sciences from the University of Georgia. He was previously Vice President of White Oak Landscape Company, where he oversaw commercial and landscape management operations. A Certified Lake Manager and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, Jim was appointed to the Board of the Cobb County (Georgia) Soil and Water Conservation Commission in 2003. He also volunteers his time and resources to a variety of natural resource protection and preservation groups.


Paul Slovisky, Vice President for Operations

Paul joined Aquascape Environmental as a Construction Specialist in 1998 and is currently the Vice President of Operations. Paul holds a B.S. in Earth Sciences from Mercer University, and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control and a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality.


Evan Carpenter, Lake Operations Manager

Evan joined the Aquascape Environmental team in 2006, shortly after graduating from Valdosta State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management. 

 


Susan Hawkins, Office Administrator

Susan joined Aquascape Environmental in 2007. As Office Administrator, she is responsible for business and office operations. Susan holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oswego.

 


Angie Wallace, Communications Director

Angie has been with Aquascape Environmental since 1998. She studied English at the University of Georgia and has experience in new media, graphic design and communications. 


Amy Davidson, Business Development

Amy joined the Aquascape Environmental team in 2011. She holds a B.A. in Marketing from Loras College and has extensive experience in marketing and customer relationships. Amy is also a LEED Green Associate.


David Rice, Construction Supervisor

David has been with Aquascape Environmental since 2002. David holds an A.A.S. in Horticulture from Finger Lakes Community College and a B.T. in Plant Science from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. He has extensive experience in landscape design, construction and installation.

Jeremy Brown, Environmental Specialist/Wildlife Biologist

Jeremy joined Aquascape Environmental in 2008. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife from the University of Georgia. He is experienced with wildlife and fisheries management, fish stocking, and lake surveying. 

Zach Burrell, Lake Technician/Water Feature Specialist

Zach joined Aquascape Environmental in 2012. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Horticulture from Gwinnett Technical College and holds Level 1A Erosion and Sediment Control Certification.

Kris Mooney, Lake Specialist

Kris joined Aquascape Environmental in 2008. He has studied forestry and landscape design at Hocking College and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
