The Aquascape Environmental team provides a highly qualified perspective on the art and science of aquatic resource management.  While we all share an interest in aquatic flora and fauna, each team member has a unique background; taken together, our collective 50+ years of experience in the field is unmatched.

Jim Lanier, President

Jim Lanier founded Aquascape Environmental in 1990 and presently serves as the firm's President and Chief Technical Advisor. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Plant Sciences from the University of Georgia. Prior to founding Aquascape Environmental, he was Vice President of White Oak Landscape Company, where he oversaw commercial and landscape management operations. A Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, Jim was appointed to the Board of the Cobb County (Georgia) Soil and Water Conservation Commission in 2003. He served as President of the Georgia Lakes Society in 1997 and is a member of numerous other professional organizations. Jim also volunteers his time and resources to a variety of natural resource protection and preservation groups.

Paul Slovisky, Vice President for Operations

Paul joined Aquascape Environmental as a Construction Specialist in 1998 and is currently the Vice President of Operations. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from Mercer University, and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. Before joining Aquascape Environmental, he worked for United Consulting as a construction site materials tester. In his present position, Paul is responsible for planning, scheduling, materials procurement, and site supervision for all major construction projects.

David Rice, Construction Supervisor 

David has been with Aquascape Environmental since 2002, first as a Construction Specialist and now as Construction Supervisor. David holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Horticulture from Finger Lakes Community College and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Plant Science from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. He has extensive experience in landscape design, construction and installation and previously worked as a Supervisor at True Green Landcare.

Evan Carpenter, Lake Operations Manager

Evan joined the Aquascape Environmental team in 2006, shortly after graduating from Valdosta State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management. Evan is Lake Operations Manager and is responsible for scheduling, account management, quality control and customer services.

Jeremy Brown, Environmental Specialist/Wildlife Biologist

Jeremy joined Aquascape Environmental in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife from the University of Georgia. He previously worked in the erosion and sediment control consulting field with The Erosion Company. He is also experienced with wildlife and fisheries management, fish stocking, and lake surveying. As an Environmental Specialist and Wildlife Biologist, he is involved in all areas of our operations. 

Susan Hawkins, Office Administrator

Susan joined Aquascape Environmental in 2007. As Office Administrator, she is responsible for business and office operations. Prior to joining Aquascape Environmental, she worked extensively in the IT field as a software programmer and analyst and as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Joshua Kimball, Lake & Construction Specialist

Joshua joined Aquascape Environmental in 2007. He is a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force and the American Military University. He is also a veteran of the Air Force and a former police officer.

Corey Ellison, Lake Specialist

Corey joined Aquascape Environmental in 2006, while still a student at Kennesaw State University. He recently received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Kris Mooney, Lake Specialist

Kris joined Aquascape Environmental in 2008. He has studied forestry and landscape design at Hocking College and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Angie Wallace, Marketing

Angie has been with Aquascape Environmental since 1998. She studied English at the University of Georgia and has experience in new media, graphic design and communications.
